GAA President's visit - Mar 19th '11

Saturday 19th March 2011 proved an historic day for club officers and committee when GAA President, Mr. Christy Cooney visited the club. The president, who was accompanied by Mr. Paddy Naughton, President of the GAA Connacht Council,  proved a very popular guest as he mingled and spoke with the adult and junior members of the club. Mr. Cooney paid tribute to the committee for their ongoing efforts in promoting gaelic games and activities in the parish and encouraged more parental involvement whenever possible.  A special presentation was made to the president by club executive member, Brian Finan.
